About

I'm George Kobty. I build audio software, realtime browser tools, games and the AI workbenches I use to build them.

I ship real tools: a C++/JUCE guitar amp VST, a browser DSP engine with WASM SIMD kernels, WebRTC MIDI running over the browser, and an offline-first LLM code editor. The work spans low-level audio processing and the full stack around it.

I'm AI-first where it accelerates the build, with strict builder oversight of every language in the stack — C++, TypeScript, JUCE, WebAudio and edge functions. I work alongside AI to read and analyze codebases, document schemas and reducer workflows, and engineer prompts so that every feature, fix and refactor can be traced and recreated from saved prompts, readmes and design docs.

That provenance is the point. If a build can't be explained and rebuilt from its own documentation, it isn't finished. The same discipline shows up in QA: playtesting-style testing that produces robust software, stable servers and accurate user experiences.
